Dew grass color refers to the blue color dyed with Tsuyukusa flowers or Tsuyukusa flowers.

Tsuyukusa is called Tsukikusa.

Because the color of the flowers is easy to reach, it is called "kikikusa", and in the Man'yōshū it is expressed as "moongrass".
